Pheromone Research - How Do Pheromones Work?

How Pheromones Work

After many years of extensive research, scientists had finally detected and confirmed the existence of a molecule that can influence the behavior of human beings.

History
Pheromones have actually been around since the existence of living creatures.

For instance, animals and insects still carry large quantities of pheromones today. However, humans only carry 0.004% of that amount. Though only a small percentage, marketers still jumped onto this new discovery. It was not until in 2004 that the existence of human pheromones was actually confirmed.

In 2002, the first researches began to take place. However, many researchers were employed by the companies themselves. Fortunately, the media came in between and started to ask questions. Finally, after 2 years of extensive research the existence of the human pheromone was officially confirmed.

Official Report
Pheromones are naturally occurring chemicals found in animals and humans which elicit sexual behaviors and are used to attract the opposite sex. Scientists have succeeded in identifying, isolating, and recreating this human sex pheromone. These natural pheromones have been well documented to trigger very powerful sexual responses.

Vomeronasal Organ (VNO)
Unlike fragrances, which are detected by the Olfactory Glands in the nose, Pheromones are detected by the Vomeronasal Organ or VNO. The VNO is located in the Nasal Pit directly under the nose. When inhaled, the VNO receives a pheromone signal which sends a message to the brain that stimulates the body to create a subconscious increase in sexual desire.

In Human Language
Pheromones are natural elements that we cannot see or smell but are existent. Human pheromones are detected by an organ called the "VNO" which is located in the nasal pit directly under the nose.

When used in large quantities, human pheromones create a subconscious sexual desire towards the opposite sex. Human pheromones are mixed with a liquid substance, and sold in types of products such as colognes and perfumes. Their ingredients are mixed to specifically attract the male or female sex.
